After leaving Ardglass the Lecale Way walking trail crosses Coney Island, an area once believed to be a large rabbit warren in Norman Times. Then around Killough Harbour and out to St John’s Point. More opportunities to see seals basking on the rocks as you head for Tyrella and its popular beach.
Day 5: Tyrella to Newcastle 12 miles/19kms easy
