“These are my comments on trip.
The what3words is brilliant for finding hotels and really made life easier when I was tired.
The maps etc were their usual brilliant selves and impressed people I met on the way and I did sing your praises.The luggage was delivered faultlessly and in most places was placed in my room.
The towpath was pretty overgrown for a lot of the trip but that is not your concern and the guide book worked well except in one place where I had to scramble up an embankment as the path seemed to have disappeared but no problem although glad I did not get stuck!

Were the walking routes as expected? “Yes generally. First day mileage seemed nearer 12mls than 9mls. Good tow path, but can be narrow as shared with route 4 cycle way.”
