Enjoy a self-guided Dartmoor Way walking holiday on the 78 mile moorland hiking route of the Dartmoor Way in Devon, England.
This UK walking holiday starts in Okehampton, Devon. The circular walking trail meanders across rolling moorland, through quaint Devon thatched villages, along secluded wooded valleys, over clapper bridges, and around Dartmoor’s unique tors.

A fascinating walking tour through Devon’s history; with prehistoric stone circles, clapper bridges and crosses from England’s medieval times, ruined Norman castles, relics of tin mines and abandoned Dartmoor granite quarries.
This Dartmoor walking holiday is alive with wildlife. Bring the binoculars as there is plenty to see: Dartmoor ponies, sheep, cattle, butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies, stonechats, chaffinches, skylarks, and buzzards are just some of the wildlife you are almost guaranteed to see on this UK hiking tour. Visit the location of the filming of “Warhorse”
